Pulmonary Hypertension may be known as:

Pulmonary Hypertension (PH), Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH) and Idiopathic Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (IPAH).

Mission Statement

The mission of Pulmonary Hypertension Australia is to provide hope, support and education, and to promote awareness and to advocate for the pulmonary hypertension community.

PHA Australia is registered non profit organisation, managed by a committee that is elected every Annual General Meeting. This committee is made up of PAH patients, family members and friends.

Our main focus for this website is to provide support, create awareness and provide the latest information and research on Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension. We do this by offering members a message board for PAH information as well as message boards for friendly conversation and fun. The application process although easy to navigate, must meet the approval of our moderators. This restriction keeps our site private and safe for our members.  We have three levels of membership- registered members, financial members and clinical members. Please see the criteria for each of these under the “Join/Donate” tab.

If you were a member of our old website and cannot log on or do not seem to be registered, perhaps your email address returned our mail telling you about the transfer of membership. If so please contact admin through "connect" on the main menu bar and we will rectify it immediatly.WE HAVE JUST SWITCHED OVER AT 6.30PM 08/08/08.
